Off Course Sick

Last week I was out from the course because I had done something to my knee and couldn't walk. I attended the Smithfield Rapid Injury Clinic to see if they could at least give me some crutches so I would be able to go to my course. After xraying my knee the doctor told me to take the time off and to keep my leg elevated for at least a couple of days. It took more than a couple of days to get better but although I'm not completely better I want to get on with my business. While resting, I managed to organise the first set of beginner guitar lessons and design, and order a three foot by six foot advertising banner to hang outside Santry Community Resource Centre. I'm very pleased with that. My good friend in the printing industry made it for me. Thank you very much John Molloy you legend. I was waiting for the assignment tasks to be put up on moodle, but they weren't put up until Monday morning. I put out a message to my colleagues in the course, to see what was to be do...

Chrome OS

I downloaded the chromium operating system 32 bit onto my 8GB USB stick. I changed the bios on my Dell Latitude D810 so that it would boot from the USB first. It made moves to start up but seemed to be in a loop of closing down and starting up. I thought that I hadn't installed it on the USB stick properly, so I then decided to try it on my other computer (even though it was a 64bit machine) and it worked perfectly. My daughter had a packard bell computer which was running Windows 8. I was beginning to run so slow that it wasn't even worth turning on. I decided to try the Chrome O.S. in this machine, however this wouldn't run at all. I suppose it is because this machine needs the 64 bit version. I downloaded AVG to my daughters laptop, cleared off some programmes that weren't needed, and ran PC Tuneup and this sped it up fine.

Times available for the santry resource centre Timetable I decided that I would try out two classes. The early class would be for children, and would coincide with school closing times. Entrepreneur task 1 This week, I researched www.trendhunters.com  And I applied 5 trends to my business. I also researched www.boardofinnovations.com/business-revenue-model-examples And applied two business models to my business. Entrepreneur task 2 This was a solution-focused activity, I started a diary of five things that slightly annoyed me during the day. write 5 solutions to overcome them. The build a business task for this week was to attend a business event,  I checked out eventbrite and meetup    However there weren't any suitable events at this time,   idea for a focused my activities and building up the business that I had already started.
